Germany Regional Sales Manager
Position Description:
The position will be responsible for working with strategic channel partners in Germany market, including distributors, software partners, system integrators, and end users. Ideal candidates must have a successful track record in information security or a related IT software category. A general understanding of the channel partner sales model and a track record of successfully managing partners to known activity metrics are necessary.
Job Description
- Responsible for day-to-day partner communications and alliances, and compliance on customer deliverables.
- Assists system integrators and end customers select the appropriate product for their situation.
- Ensures that customer issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
- Maintains an understanding of the technical features of VIVOTEK products and services as well as the marketplace requirements and competitive offerings.
- Delivers sales presentations to clients.
- Reports to Sales Director, located at VIVOTEK headquarters, of Brand Business Division.
- Travel may be required to customers, tradeshows, and seminars.
- Marketing responsibilities may include: assists in the development and implementation of email campaigns, researches trade associates for potential membership, coordination of tradeshow/seminar events, collection of success stories and other marketing materials.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Sales or Marketing experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
- Customer service and detail oriented. Respond to customer issues quickly and effectively.
- Technical competence (ability to learn cameras, networks, etc)
- Motivated, goal oriented, persistent, presentation & negotiation skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Familiarity with IT/Networking or CCTV/Security industry a plus.
- Must be German Citizen or Permanent Resident.

To be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships with large national distributors and for setting the accounts' overall strategic direction.
Job Description
- Recruit, negotiate with and sign-on new national distributors.
- Manage and develop the current national distributors.
- Develop and maintain strong executive relationships with assigned distributors.
- Coordination of activities in support of the Channel including Account and Market launches.
- Pursue opportunities unique to each assigned account in terms of marketing, merchandising and operations.
- Develops proposals, negotiates terms and conditions, and implements contractual agreements with accountability for delivering strong financial results.

Technical Manager at VIVOTEK (U.S.)
Job Description
As a Technical Manager with VIVOTEK USA you will be responsible for
- Technical Training
- Develop Certificated Training Program and perform training course to customers.
- Pre-Sales
- Work with Sales Personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities.
- Meeting customers and delivering product centric presentations.
- Alliance management
- Coordinate with all SIA (software integration alliance) partners including camera integration, marketing events and promotion program.
- Troubleshooting and developing technical solutions related to software, networking and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customers via the telephone and/or Internet.
Required Skills
- Experience in networking, TCP/IP, RSTP, SMTP, FTP, 3GPP, Unix, multicasting.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures relating to Windows Operating Systems, Windows networking and troubleshooting Windows network environments and knowledge of Windows based Operating Systems (XP, Server 2003, Vista)
- Familiarity with C and C#, and web development with Java script and html.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and customer service skills required.
- Ability be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Travel required - Estimate 20% - 40%.
Required Experience
- Background in IP Surveillance or digital video preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of browser platforms (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari)
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Engineering or Computer Science degree strongly preferred.
- CCNA/CCNP certification a plus.
