IP7142 is VIVOTEK's first all-in-one WDR network camera for outdoor day and night applications against various challenging light conditions. Based on the self-developed VVTK-1000 SoC, the camera is able to deliver high image quality in both MPEG-4 and MJPEC formats. The incorporation of IR illuminators and a removable IR-cut filter makes the camera ideal for day and night outdoor surveillance. With an IP-66 rated housing for weatherproof, IP7142 serves as a highly integrated, cost-effective solution that requires no additional accessories during installation.
The high-performance IP7142 incorporates a WDR CMOS sensor that captures both of the dark and the bright parts in a scene, and combines the differences to produce a highly realistic image as the original scene. By preserving as much information as possible, the sensor can achieve the best image quality for human eyes, thereby ensuring the visibility of the entire scene in high-contrast environments. As a result, IP7142 is capable of delivering high-quality images in places such as lobby entrances, parking lots, ATM, and loading area.
IP7142 provides excellent day and night function with a motorized IR-cut filter and built-in IR illuminators. The built-in IR illuminators can provide infrared illumination for up to 15 meters and the IR-cut filter is removed automatically at night to accept infrared light. This combination enables IP7142 to provide high-quality image during nighttime.
IP7142 also permits simultaneous MPEG-4 and MJPEG video streams with different configurations to various devices, making real-time monitoring for different applications feasible. To keep pace with trends towards high mobility, IP7142 is integrated with support for 3GPP surveillance, whereby users can perform real-time monitoring through their 3G mobile phones. With IP7142 and a 3G phone, anyone can easily have a mobile surveillance solution.
Designed for outdoor use, IP7142 comes with an IP-66 rated housing that protects the camera from dust and water. Such weatherproof design enables IP7142 to adapt to all kinds of harsh weather conditions when installed outdoors. Furthermore, installation of IP7142 is very simple thanks to 802.3af compliant PoE function.
