IP7131/IP7138/FD7131/IP7151 support inbuilt PoE, you can use PoE switch or PoE injector to connect these cameras by using RJ-45 connection.
However, as for VS7100, the PoE function is optional; please pay attention to its specification before you buy VS7100.
The following picture takes IP7131 as an example to show how to use PoE injector with IP7131:
Others products such as IP7137/IP7135/PT7137/PT7135/IP7132/IP7139 and 2000 series cameras, 3000 series cameras, 6000 series cameras do not support PoE, you have to use the PoE kit (a PoE injector with a splitter) to make connections with these cameras. The link is for your reference for the PoE kit we offered.
The following picture takes PZ61x4 for example to show how to use PoE kit (including injector an splitter) to connect PZ61x4.
We suggest users to use at least 1 GB CF card on IP7138/IP7139. Here is the CF card list:
First, please check your extra PTZ using the RS232 or theRS485 interface. Connect with COM port if the extra PTZ using RS232 (Connect with Pin 5~ Pin 6 if the extra PTZ using RS485, check with following picture.)
With RS232.
With RS485
Second, please check your extra PTZ camera's ID; please fill in camera ID with 1 or 0 on the Video page. Usually the default camera ID is 0 or 1.
After that, select the correct interface mode/baud rate/camera's drivers. For the PTZ's extra settings, refer to your camera's instruction guide. The following is an example for reference.
If digital input is configured to "rising" status, so that Digital output is driven to "high" status (resulting in DO's "Common" pin shorting the "NO" pin), the light bulb will light up when digital input's signal changes from 0V to 12V. The Digital input's "+" pin and "-" pin can be connected to an external sensor to monitor the voltage according to the programmed scripts in configuration.
The Relay Output's "NO" pin (Normal Open), "NC" (Normal Close) pin, and "C" pin (Common) can be used to turn an external alarm on or off. When the system starts up, both relay output's "Common" pin will short the "NC" pin. A simple example is illustrated in the diagram below.
Yes, the camera can be mounted on the ceiling by using our enclosure. If you want to use an enclosure with a wireless model, you have to take off Wireless LAN antenna first and extend the antenna with a cable.
