Q1: How to use the "patrol"? Why does not camera patrol after I clicked the "Patrol" button?

Please go to camera control page to set the preset location for the camera first. After that, clicking the patrol button will make the camera move between the locations.

Q2: The SD6122V has a "Patrol" and a "Cruise" button. What is the difference between these two functions? How do I set "Cruise" in the Camera control page?

Cruise
To use the cruise function, first click the "Start" button, the user will have up to 100 seconds to control and record the movement of the camera. Clicking the "End" button will stop the session. Finally, the "Cruise" button will make the camera rotate the path of the saved session.
Patrol
To use the patrol function, the user needs to first set the preset location for the camera to follow. Clicking the patrol button will make the camera move between the locations. The main difference between a patrol and cruise path is that a cruse path is generally smoother.

Q3: When I activate patrol for my PZ6122, the camera goes to each point but does not loop. It stops after the first round. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, our camera can't pan or patrol continuously. It can pan/tilt only in manual mode because of the mechanism. The mechanical design for PT/PZ is quite different from a dome camera. The dome camera uses a belt and the motor system to rotate, while the PT/PZ uses gears. Allowing the PT/PZ to rotate continuously would damage it because the gears cannot withstand constant movement.

The PT/PZ does not support continuous patrol but we have a new speed dome product that does. There is a way for the camera to patrol continuously, but the user will need to write a program to do this. Simply loop the following URL, which will rotate the camera. Try to use the URL.
