Q1: I can not view or record the streaming of the cameras even I have configured the cameras, why?

There are 2 possible causes.

  1. You do not install the Hard Disk.
    Solution: Please install a SATA hard disk into NR7401 and go to Maintenance page to format disk.
  2. Your hard disk has not been formated.
    Solution: Please go to Maintenance page to format disk.

Besides, "format disk" will cost about 30 minutes.

Q2: It shows up a message "The system is in maintenance mode" and I can not view or record, why?

The root cause is that you do not install the Hard Disk.

Solution: Please install a SATA hard disk into NR7401 and go to Maintenance page to format disk.

Q3: What is the purpose of the USB storage?

You can use it to backup the recorded data.
