Please follow the steps to upgrade the firmware.

1. Open Installation Wizard

2. Search the device and the device you would like to upgrade. Note more than one device can be chosen.

3. Click "Upgrade" button.

4. Search for the firmware to upgrade.

5. Upgrade the firmware may take a few minutes, please do not unplug the power and the Ethernet cable.

Only newly models and the firmware format is .bin can upgrade the firmware remotely. About how to use FTP to upgrade the devices, you can check the <Q3> The newly models can use the Maintenance page to upgrade the firmware. The following is the detail. About

1. Go to Maintenance page.
2. Search for the firmware to upgrade.
3. Click "Upgrade" button.
4. Upgrade the firmware may take a few minutes, please do not unplug the power and the Ethernet cable.

Only the firmware format is .bin file can be use the FTP to upgrade the firmware. The format which is .pkg file cannot use FTP to upgrade the firmware. The following is the detail.

1. Put the firmware (flash.bin) under the path.
2. Open DOS command window. Type FTP 192.168.0.30 ( The IP address of the device )
3. Type root for user name and then click "Enter" button.
4. Type password if there is the password. If no password, please click "Enter" button.
5. Type "put flash.bin" command, and wait for upgrade.
6. Upgrade the firmware may take a few minutes, please do not unplug the power and the Ethernet cable.
