VIVOTEK is proud to announce the release of its iViewer app for iPhone and iPad. The purpose of iViewer is to allow users to be able to access the image of the monitored area off-site with just a click away on their mobile devices.

iViewer enables users to view the live streaming video from multiple cameras managed by centralized management software VAST or standard recording software ST7501 - at anytime, anywhere. Available 24-7, the iViewer app is not only a great convenience for administrators but also enhances security by providing administrators the flexibility to monitor and detect suspicious activities in real time even when they are physically away.

Connection architecture

• Supports VAST & ST7501 applications.
• Supports hundreds of live view camera connections from an unlimited number of server connections.
• Allows hundreds of server connections to be saved to a "Favorite" list for quick access.

Control of real-time video display

• Supports PTZ/ePTZ camera control through a PTZ panel and multi-touch interface.
• Supports saving of preferred view settings through "Save layout".
• Supports real-time switching of cameras by selecting one to replace the source of the current video displayed.
• Allows capture of video frames using the "Snapshot" command.

Remote playback

• Supports single-channel playback initiated by search for a specific day/time.
• Supports multiple choice of playback duration time from 1/2/5/10 min.
• Supports variable-speed fast-forward and reverse.
• Allows capture of video frames using "Snapshot"” command.

Support for fisheye views

• Supports configuration of fisheye views based on mount type and the video's native view type.

• A pop-out message to notify you when the login information is incorrect.
• A pop-out message to notify you when the server version is not supported.
• A pop-out message to notify you when you apply the PTZ function to the wrong camera.
• A pop-out message to notify you when you apply the fisheye function to the wrong camera.
• A pop-out message to notify you when the server version you are connecting is not the newest version.
• The space for the camera name has been modified to fit text of any length.

Important notice

• In order to use iViewer, a VAST or ST7501 server is required.
• The supported version of VAST and ST7501 is V1.5.2.8 & above.
• iViewer only supports iPad, iPod touch 3rd generation, iPhone 3GS or later version.
• In order to modify the video quality of live viewing in iViewer, please check the "Video Quality" settings of "stream 3" (or "stream 2" for dual-stream model) in your camera configuration page.
• iViewer only support VIVOTEK 7000 & 8000 series cameras.
