What is a Preview and Beta, how do I test it and provide feedback?

A Preview version is built for pilot project PoC. The feature are not finalized and limited to core features. Its integration and functionality are limited. But it can show the core AI capability to end user to help to consolidate project scope, refocus on the pain points, or confirm the user case. VIVOTEK release “preview” version to demo the core AI value and collect feedback from the customer. It’s also a great opportunity to test if it is suitable for your specific use case.

A Beta version is these function that have get approved during the preview stage at several pilot projects. Its functionality will be complete but limited. There’s uncertainty how the solution has been final productized. Customers can gain early access, evaluate performance, and provide feedback for further improvements before the official release through enrolling specific beta release AI Lab program.   

A Preview/BETA AI Solution from VIVOTEK: 

• Is not covered by VIVOTEK official support: VIVOTEK will confirm the support windows in application phase for each solution.
• Solution Preview document for each topic will list the functionality for testing. Have limited or restricted functionality and some key functions may be missing.
• May, or may not fulfill individual customer requirements.
• Is usually tagged with “Preview“ & “Beta”, either in the software and/or in the documentation.
• May at any time and without notice be changed or discontinued. VIVOTEK may take the decision not to make it generally available.

Please note that VIVOTEK judgment is that more field feedback is required before the completion of the Preview AI software.
