New Features
Device Sharing
Users can now create a share link to allow external parties (e.g., law enforcement) to access live streams or playback footage from selected cameras. This is useful for sharing key areas or critical moments without requiring login.
Frame by Frame
Supports forward frame-by-frame playback, making it easier to pinpoint and examine key events. This feature can be enabled via a button on the web portal or hotkey.
Talk Down with Network Speaker
The Talk Down feature has been introduced. By connecting VIVOTEK’s Network Speaker to the VORTEX platform through the RX9502 bridge device, live audio can be sent to any subject at the scene as an instruction or warning
Enhancements
Forward or Rewind in 10-Second Increments
Users can now fast forward or rewind by 10 seconds by clicking respective buttons. The playback will start from the last position on the timeline where the user stopped. Hotkeys are also available.
