How can I connect my existing cameras to VORTEX?

You can connect compatible existing cameras to VORTEX through either VSS or a supported VIVOTEK NVR.

Through VSS

Upgrade to VSS 1.5 or later, go to Settings > VORTEX Connect, enable VORTEX Connect, and confirm that the cloud connection status shows Connected. Then follow the setup guide to connect VSS and its associated cameras to your VORTEX organization.

Through a VIVOTEK NVR

Onboard a compatible VIVOTEK NVR using the NVR’s MAC address and the organization owner’s email address. Once connected, the NVR and its associated cameras can be accessed and managed through VORTEX.

Compatible VIVOTEK Network Cameras support centralized remote access, device management, live view, and supported event notifications through VORTEX Bridge-to-Cloud.
