Yes. With VORTEX Bridge-to-Cloud, compatible existing cameras can connect to VORTEX through a supported VIVOTEK NVR. This lets you add centralized remote access and management, firmware updates, easier video sharing, and cloud-based integrations without replacing your entire system.
I have a compatible VIVOTEK NVR. How do I connect it to VORTEX?
As an end user, you can onboard a compatible VIVOTEK NVR to your VORTEX organization using the NVR’s MAC address and the organization owner’s email address. Once onboarding is complete, the NVR and its connected cameras can be accessed and managed through VORTEX.
What should I consider before replacing my DVR or NVR?
Consider your current camera compatibility, number of sites, remote-management requirements, maintenance workload, scalability, and future AI needs.
