Sharper License Plate Images

Firmware 2501 provides LPR Scene Mode, a pre-defined image optimization preset specifically designed for low-speed vehicle monitoring
(below 40 km/h). By prioritizing license plate clarity as the core focus, this mode ensures sharper, high-contrast images that are essential for accurate identification. This optimized feed provides a better foundation for backend platforms like VAST Security Station, VORTEX and other third-party integrations. It minimizes integration barriers and ensures that plate information remains clear and easy to search.

Note: This feature is not designed for highway or speed-enforcement camera applications.

Smoother Management and Operation

1. Enhanced Account Management Flexibility

Now supports individual account enable/disable controls, simplifying account maintenance and reducing setup time.

2. Two-Way Audio Intercom Support

A new voice button has been added to the camera’s web interface. When operating in an HTTPS-secure connection environment, users can freely choose the audio output source—either the built-in speakers or an external line output. When two-way audio is enabled, the AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) function is automatically activated, enabling full intercom capabilities directly through the camera’s web interface and greatly enhancing two-way voice call quality.

3. Emergency Recording Function Support

More Intuitive PTZ Camera Control Modes

Supports three on-screen control methods:

1. Joystick – Drag the mouse in the desired direction directly on the liveview to adjust the PTZ camera’s shooting angle.
2. Click on Image – Click anywhere on the liveview scene to instantly move the camera to that position.
3. Area Zoom – Draw a frame on the liveview to zoom in on the target area.

More Flexible System Deployment

• Increased Rule Capacity – The maximum number of trigger events has been increased to 20. This allows for a greater number of independent settings to cover diverse requirements in various monitoring environments.
• Enhanced Fisheye Dewarp Streaming – Fisheye cameras now support two new live streaming aspect ratios (1:1 and 4:3) and can output multiple dewarped streams simultaneously. By delivering dewarped images directly to any platform, the cameras significantly reduce the need for client-side processing and resolve compatibility issues between fisheye hardware and third-party correction algorithms.
